Maude & Scram Summer Drawing Competition! (keep the kids happy for an hour or two 😎)

Before anyone says "this isn't crime prevention"... it actually is….

Maude & Scram stories are designed to help young children understand how to stay safe and make good choices, while having a bit of fun along the way.

With the summer holidays upon us, many of us have children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews or young family friends to entertain. Why not encourage them to enter this drawing competition and be in with a chance of winning a prize? Now these prizes are not holidays or speedboats so don't get too excited 😄. Read on for further instruction and please do not send me your pics!

This summer, join Maude and Scram on their exciting adventures and be in with a chance of winning a prize.

Written specifically for Key Stage One children, our wonderful, sketched stories featuring our favourite duo Maude and Scram, take children on a series of journeys to help them learn and understand how to keep themselves safe.

 There are 3 prizes in total.

How to enter

1) Watch one (or all!) of the Maude & Scram stories via this link: https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/.../maude-and-scram or through Youtube https://www.youtube.com/playlist...

2) Draw your favourite scene from one of the stories.

3) Ask an adult to take a photo of your picture.

4) Email your entry to: ecu.fraudprotectofficer@westyorkshire.police.uk

 What to include:

Please make sure your entry clearly shows the child's first name and their age. Please do not include any other personal information at the entry stage.

Important information:

The email used to submit the entry must belong to an adult.

Entries must be received by Sunday 6 September 2026.

A 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner will be chosen.

Winners will be notified via the email address used to submit the entry by Monday 14 September 2026 so please check these inboxes.
